Calo Des Moro is a major tourist attraction in Mallorca. The water here is just at the perfect depth to create these amazing deep turquoise colours that make this so popular. The sheer cliffs that engulf this amazing little corner of paradise add to its magnificence.
The sand stone in many places has eroded over time to create small caves. The view from one of these caves is what I have chosen as my subject matter in this original oil on canvas.
I have enhanced the pigments of paint by suspending them in an oil on varnish glaze.
