Calo des Moro on the paradise island of Mallorca surrounds a magnificent beach with sheer cliffs. The depth of these waters just in side the bay are perfect for the refracted light to show off the stunning turquoise blue greens. Unfortunately it has, like so many other popular sights in Mallorca, become a victim of its own success and is now not directly accessible by car. The local authorities have provide parking 5 minute walk away.
This painting is the third of a trilogy of this natural beauty.
I found the sea particularly challenging in this one as the thalo turquoise blues are not easy to mix.
