Went up here on what seemed like the windiest day of the year with my wife and my old school mate. As I turned around just to see how far we had come this incredible view hit me. Just had to paint it. I thought at the time how fortunate I was to be living on this paradise island in the sun.
This oil on canvas took nearly two months to paint back in the studio and is very nearly my largest to date.
