....Carlos Echeverri was a Colombian diplomat, amongst his many achievements, he served as his country's permanent secretary to the United Nations. He is also the man I called 'Uncle Carlos' who visited our home regularly in Colombia during my early childhood. Uncle Carlos represented Anita Uribe Campusano who was the official person named as my legal guardian in my adoption documents....
Uncle Carlos was a personal friend of JFK and knew Norma Jean. He died in 1974 whilst I was at boarding school, 12 years after Norma Jeans' tragic death in 1962.
